Marcelo is a Pre-doctoral Fellow at SPIA, based at the Paris School of Economics, where he assists SPIA’s Chair Karen Macours. Before joining SPIA, he held several research positions, including at the Inter-American Development Bank and the Bolivian Catholic University’s Institute of Socio-Economic Research, focusing primarily on development economics. He holds an MSc. in Economics from the University of Warwick, where he studied as a Chevening Scholar, and a B.A. in Economics from the Bolivian Catholic University.
