John Ilukor is an Economist in the Development Data Group of the World Bank. He is a member of the Living Standards Measurement Study (LSMS) team, and is based in Kampala, Uganda. As a member of the LSMS team, he is involved in the design, implementation, and analysis of complex household surveys in Malawi and Uganda. 50% of his time is devoted to the SPIA work program, to develop, validate and scale-up (institutionalizing) objective methods for survey data collection on agricultural technologies. Additionally, John supports collection of Agricultural Administrative Data and the implementation of the development programs with the World Bank. Prior to joining the Bank, John worked as a Research Associate with SPIA, where he supported methodological experiments for agricultural data collection in Africa. John holds a PhD in Agricultural Economics from Hohenheim University in Stuttgart, Germany, a Master’s in Agriculture and Applied Economics, and an undergraduate degree in Quantitative Economics from Makerere University, Kampala.
